Edit a Resource Preset

Edit a Resource Preset

You can edit a resource preset to change its name or select it as the default set of facilities, instructors and class resources to display in the Resource Planner. You cannot update the facilities, instructors and class resources in a preset, instead you can create a new preset and delete the original if it is no longer needed.

To edit a resource preset:

  1. Go to Manage Center > Learning > Resource Planner. The Resource Planner opens. If there is no default resource preset the Resources dialog prompts you to enter or select the facilities, instructors and class resources you want to see in the planner's calendar.

  2. Click Resource Presets. The Resource Presets dialog opens, listing the saved presets.

  3. Select Edit from the action menu of the preset you want to edit. The Edit Preset Filter dialog opens and lists the facilities, instructors and class resources selected for the preset.

  4. Edit the preset name as required. If you select the Set as default check box, the preset's facilities, instructors and resources are automatically displayed in the Resource Planner when you open it.

  5. Click Save. The Edit Preset Filter dialog closes.

  6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 for other presets as required.

  7. To delete a preset, select Delete from its action menu.

  8. Click Done to close the Resource Presets dialog and return to the Resource Planner.
