Creating a PDF certificate for Learning

Creating a PDF certificate for PF Learning
 
1. Create a document from any publishing tool (e.g. MS Word) and export to PDF.
2. Open the .pdf file using Adobe Acrobat (This sample uses Adobe Acrobat XI Pro version).
3. To add a field in the .pdf file, click View > Tools > Forms then select Add New Field.

 

 

4. Select Text Field from the list and position it in the area desired.

 

5. To edit field's properties, right- click on the field and select Properties.

 

6. The field's Properties window appears.

 

7. In the General tab, enter the Name of the field you'd like to display. This example uses UserName.

 

8. Click the Appearance tab in order to configure the field's font and color.

 

9. When done with the configuration, click Close.
10. Login to PF Learning and upload the .pdf in the Repository Manager.
11. Go to Certification Editor and assign the .pdf file in the Certificate tab.

 

12. Click Save to apply the changes.
